Uncle Ben Visits

While Ben was in we had a shower for him and Courtney. Gunnar will be here early June.

6th month check up

Parker went to the doctor yesterday for his 6th month check up. Sorry no pictures I forgot to tell Daddy to take a picture while he was there. Here is the latest...

Height - 28 inches, 90th percentile

Weight- 19 lbs. 6 ozs, 75th percentile

Head Circumference 18 inches, 95th percentile

Parker is rolling everywhere! And with a purpose. If you walk in the other room he tries to follow you by rolling. 

He loves tummy time and is wanting to move! He reaches for his toy and rakes them towards him. 

He loves laughing at the dogs and trying to grab them. 

His favorite thing to get a hold of is my cell phone and if he drops it he cries. 

Parker hasn't started crying at strangers yet. He smiles at everybody! 

No new sounds just the really loud rasping noise still : ) He does do this weird thing where he sucks in air until he starts coughing. I wish he would figure out that wasn't a good idea. 

Scott and I are loving minute and making extra effort to spend quality time with him because we know it won't last forever.

First Outside Experience

Yesterday was the first warm day we have had in a long time. Warm enough to take Parker outside. He really enjoyed laughing at the dogs while they were playing ball. We can't wait for more family days outside together. 

6 months old

Parker is getting big so fast. We can't get over what a big boy we have. He has discovered rolling over both ways finally. Me mastered belly to back a long time ago but just this past really got the hang of back to belly. Now he realizes he can go places by rolling! I can also tell he wants to MOVE. When he sees something he wants he lungs and jerks towards the item. He also cried the other night when he dropped my cell phone he was playing with. That was the first time he had cried because he dropped a toy. His other favorite thing is laughing at the dogs. The other night he laughed for 5 minutes straight watching the dogs play. I know I will say this again but I am really loving this stage!
