Santa and Rudolph

We went to a local fire department to see how Santa would go.  It went pretty well so we are thinking about going to the mall and taking a "real" one.  I bought Parker a Rudolph since he is in love with movie. He loves both of his Rudolphs and played with them all day.

Snow Day #3

Parker is making the most of my extra time at home! Watching Rudolph and being lazy. He was also fascinated with his wrapped gifts under the three. He pulled the bow off and claimed "it broke" but then tore a small hole in the paper trying to see what was inside! Sneaky boy! I can' say anything since I use to unwrap my gifts when I was little.

How to have a perfect snow day...

Start the day on the couch with some new cars and watch Mickey Mouse.

Have breakfast in your pajamas while watching some Christmas movies.

 Add to the Christmas decorations.

Spend 15 minutes getting dressed to go see the snow.

Go outside for 2 minutes and decide it is too cold and you are stuck : )

Wake up for nap and eat an oreo while Mommy makes Oreo Truffles.

Wear a cute apron and eat peanut butter while Mom makes peanut butter balls.

Never take off your pajamas and watch more Christmas Movies while laying on the recliner.

Sample Mommy's yummy Christmas candy!

Thanksgiving

Parker was so handsome for Thanksgiving. I just love how big he looks in this picture.

Parker was great all day! He ate a little early at Nana's and did well eating some ham and green beans. He even took a nap at HIS request in Nana's bed. This is huge for Parker. Usually we have to go out of our way to make naptime/bedtime happen during the holidays but this year he told me he was tired and took himself to Nana's bed for a nap. He woke up just in time for dessert. I was very pleased that he liked Aunt Jennifer's derby pie. This is the first dessert he has liked besides his chocolate cupcakes from Twisted Sifter.

After some time at Nana's house we headed to Grammie and Grampy's house for another meal. He are okay but he has the most fun playing with his toys there and playing with Kody and Chase. He spent the night at Grammie and Grampy's house so Mommy and Daddy could do Black Friday shopping.

We will put in the big tree later on the this weekend but we found this cute little tree at Hobby Lobby for Parker's room. He is really talking about Santa and Christmas Trees so I think this year is going to be great! Mom bought him the little Nativity Set by Fisher Price and he loves it. He talks about the Angel and Baby Jesus but I think he likes the cows the best : )

Parker and Mommy's Weekend

Scott was out of town for a golf weekend so Parker and I spent the whole weekend together. We went to a football game with Grampy on Friday night. To Lexington to watch the Bourbon Chase finishers and to eat on Saturday night. On the way home we stopped to buy "How to Train your Dragon" and had a cuddly movie night on Saturday night. It was great to spend so much time with my little guy.

He likes to snuggle here lately! "I sit in mommy's lap" and "Parker love Mommy" are my favorite words right now! It also really sweet to listen to him talk to Scott on the phone. He even tells me "Parker miss Daddy". Glad to know he does loves us after all : )

Mile 17, Mile 21 and Mile 26

photo.php.jpg

Parker came to my marathon this weekend and made Mommy's day! He was at mile 17, 21 and the final 26. It was great to see him with his cow bell and big smile. I teared up every time I saw him and when I just thought about him being there. If you want to read about my first marathon click the following link.
