First Solid Food

Today we had Mexican food with Aunt Bridget and Parker had some refried beans. He loved them! It was Parker's first bite of big people food : )

Pulling Up

Parker has been pulling himself to standing for a couple weeks in his crib. I love coming to get him after naps and he is standing up looking at me. The babysitter said he has been pulling up on stuff at her house during the week but I hadn't see him do it at home. But this weekend he did it a lot for me! He gets so frustrated and determined while he does it. He so wants to cruise around but is still scared. He holds on for dear life but rocks back and forth. Too cute! I love phases like this when he accomplishes a bunch of milestones at one time. 

More Memorial Day Weekend

Parker loves to watch the cars drive by! When I am out front watering flowers he is so content to lay on his blanket and watch the cars! Such a little boy! 

Thanks Grammie and Grampy for the AWESOME Aerosmith shirt! Mommy's little rock star! 

Parker was feeling the Steven Tyler vibe in his Aerosmith shirt. He but on quite a show for everyone Sunday night. He was "talking" up a storm and waving at everybody. 

Memorial Day Weekend

Hanging out in the kiddie pool outside! Parker is such a water boy! We have been taking swimming lessons with Mrs. Betty Jo and he is such a natural. I am going to buy a bigger pool so we can keep practicing this summer. 

Not so sure about the grass. 

Yum! Biter Biscuits! What a mess but good! Most of it ended up on me or the Bumbo but it is good practice!

Mother's Day Weekend

We had an awesome Mother's Day weekend. I graduated on Saturday from Asbury. Parker came with Grammie and Grampy to watch. Then Scott and I had date night in Lexington. We went shopping and I bought new bedding and stuff for our bathroom for my mother's day gift. We had a celebration dinner at the Melting Pot and then went home to spend the rest of the weekend with Parker.

I am so happy to have my boy with me during Mother's day. He has been sick with another respitory infection but he is still happy and is very cuddly with us.

Starting to drink out of cup like a big boy. He doesn't like a sippy cup so we let him drink out it without the top.

Sitting up and loving it! 

Finally!

After LOTS of practice with Nana Pauline Parker is sitting up. He can do it for like 20 minutes now. I worked  on it this weekend with him and he is so happy to be able to sit up and play with his toys. I got out some bigger toys and he had a blast all weekend. 

Parker is also eating yogurt melts and puffs! I keep waiting on a tooth to pop up but they have been slow coming. This was one of those weeks where I felt like he grew up a lot really quick. He crawls with purpose all over the place. He is really exploring the world around him right now. Whenever you give him something new he just stares at it with amazement. It is amazing how much more I have fallen in love with him this month.
