Glucose Results

I ended up calling the doctor to make sure everything was okay and my results were fine. They said my sugar was 113 which is normal! Yea for good blood work!
Now if I could fine the cure for heartburn!

Johnny Carino's Italian Nachos

My first true craving! As in I had to have them! Scott drove me to Lexington on Sunday just to get some. They were great. The only bad part was I got full before I ate them all and I didn't get to enjoy every bite.

Glucose Testing

I survived! And seriously it was not bad at ALL. I was so thinking it was going to be much worse. The worst part was how hungry I was this morning before I went to the doctor. But the drink was not bad at all and it sorta filled me up until I could eat. I still do not have results. They said they would call this afternoon if there was a problem. So no news is good news!
Off to the pool!

Trip to the Doctor

I had an unexpected visit to the doctor today because of heart palpitations. I have been having a few episodes of my heart racing but today during my Math training my heart was racing faster than usual (like 100 bpm) and I just feel strange. I think a lot of it had to do with that fact I was in a quiet room with 40 strangers. Sorta gave me that trapped feeling. Well I called the doctor and they did want to see me. So my Mom and Step-dad drove me up to see the doctor. By the time I got there everything was okay.
Dr. Onan said it was normal during pregnancy to have irregular heart beats and connected mine this morning to blood sugar. I was really hungry when I woke up and didn't eat until I got to training and I had a doughnut and orange juice. She said my blood sugar could have spiked so quick that could have triggered my heart palpitation.
So in a nutshell it was all no big deal and next time I just need to go lay down and calm down. Best news was I had not been to the doctor in 3 weeks and I haven't even gained a whole pound!

Third Trimester

I can't believe I am in my third trimester! He really will be here before I know it. Parker moves so much! I love it every time it happens. I get sad thinking about when he will get bigger and I won't feel him move as much. I am just amazed when he flops around everywhere. Last night I was up for like 30 minutes with him moving. Okay, I didn't enjoy that moving so much but it was still amazing to picture him in there moving around like that.
I really feel good considering. I think I am bigger than what I should be but it is my own fault for not eating as well as I should be. Things are starting to get a little crowded in my belly but still manageable. My heartburn has started back up which I could have done without. Thanks to everyone who leaves comments on here and on my Myspace. I wish I had time to comment back to everyone! It means a lot to know people are checking up on me and Parker.

Not much going on...

To all of you that check my blog on a regular basis I apologize for not having much to say. I have been really busy with graduate class and this week I am in training all day.
Basically I still feel the same. The worst part is not being able to sleep at night. I toss and turn all night trying to get comfortable. I have started sleeping with my body pillow again and that seems to be helpful.
We have not done anything else to the nursery because I have been so busy and we do not have anything new to add to it. I am hoping to get more stuff as my showers get here. Just as long as Parker doesn't show up too early I feel like we are the right track to get everything finished. Even though a lot of people are betting on me going late August. I really need to hold in there until Sept. 6th or so for my maternity leave to work out.
I will post some new pictures from the pool and Brass Band when I get a chance. Enjoy the gorgeous weather this week!

Greatest Creation at Cold Stone

Yes that is two pregnant women eating ice cream! What is even better is what we are eating. Stacy and I couldn't decided between cake batter or peanut butter so she had the best idea why not get BOTH. My creation was peanut butter ice cream, cake batter ice cream with Oreo and marshmallows. Stacy had hers with Reese's Cup and white chocolate. Cold Stone is a must for the rest of the summer!

One of Five

Where will Parker fit into this picture? Is he going to be loved or what?!? I know Jackson (7), Macey (4), Max (3) and Mia (6 months) will be great cousins! And boy will Nana have her hands full.
Then when he goes to Grammie's house he will be the one and only loving the center of attention. I see a spoiled little boy in my future.

Where Every Pregnant Woman Should Be....

in the pool! Me and two of my friends from school went to a local pool and bought a "family" membership for the summer. I plan on spending as many days there as possible!
Here are a few shots from today. I am sure there will be more to come!

Yuck

Yesterday was one yucky day! I woke up feeling light headed and strange. I thought it was just my heart fluttering that had me feeling so off. But mid afternoon I discovered I had a stomach bug. It was awful. I have not been that sick in a long time. Being sick like that while pregnant is not fun. I was worried about what not being able to eat and my fever would do to the baby, but I called the doctor and she assured me I was okay. As of this morning I feel about 50% better still weak and queasy but I did manage to eat breakfast. I am more than thankful I did not have morning sickness after yesterday. Not a fun post but that is what I have been up to!

Less that 100 to go!

I am going to share in the excitement with my friend Karla who is also pregnant. I have less than 100 days! EXCITING and SCARY at the same time. Some days it is hard to believe how fast this journey has already went by. I know the summer will fly by because it always does and then Parker will be ready for his entrance into the world.
