Meeting Gunnar

Parker, my mom and step-dad took a trip to Virginia to see Baby Gunnar! Such a cutie. It is hard to believe that Parker was ever that small. We are hoping Ben and Courtney get to make a trip to Kentucky before Ben heads over seas.

Quality Time

After some refried beans at Guadalajara we went to the park to feed the ducks. 

Mom even let me eat some ice cream! Now Grammie can take me to see the ducks at the park. She has been waiting all month!

Determined to get the remote! Putting stuff out of Parker's reach just gets more and more tricky. I found a new home for the coffee table so that Parker can get to the couch easier.

Parker Crawling to Pull Up

Parker will does his inch worm crawl. He can get up on his hands and knees but he would much rather drop to his stomach and crawl fast. He is really into pulling up on things. His favorite thing to pull up on is the coffee table and try to get to the laptop, cell phone or remote controls. I am going to have a busy summer!

Arrived early this morning! 7.14 lbs and 21 inches long. 

First Day of Summer Break

What better way to spend the summer? 

Not so sure about the big pool... lets start off with a big bowl of water! 

Parker in the big pool! 

Milestones: 

• Still doing his inch worm crawl, he can get up on his hands and knees but would rather inchworm himself around. 
  
• Parker says "dadada" all the time. Sometimes it is just babbling but every now and then he actually says it to Scott. Pulling up on everything in sight! Parker has been taking lots of falls but is getting better at getting back into a sitting position. 
  
• Today he started making the /m/ sound again. I was making his food and he started pulling up on my pants say "mamama". 
  
• Loves to eat! Even though he is skinny (still fits in 3-6 month stuff) he loves to eat puffs, yogurt melts and all baby food. There is not one flavor he hasn't liked. 
  

Very Sweet! I can't believe in less than 3 months I will have a one year old! 

Uh Oh Spaghetti O's

The first bites of spaghetti went great but then Parker started spitting it back out. It quickly turned into quite a mess! 

Swim Lessons

Parker has been taking swim lessons with Mrs. Betty Jo (a friend from work) and he had his last swim lesson last week. It was so amazing how much he loved the water. He is a natural in the water! I can't wait to spend the rest of the summer working on all things Betty Jo taught us to do in the pool.
