Parker's First Christmas Part One
Christmas for Parker started on Christmas Eve Eve with Grammie and Grampy coming over for some Mexican food! No gifts just good times with family.
Christmas Eve we went to lunch with Pappy at Guady's (no pictures). Then we headed to Great Grand mama's and Great Granddaddy's. We had a great time with Aunt Bridget, Matt, Granddad, Annette and Great Grandparents.
Christmas morning with mom and dad was awesome. We are working on videos to upload to the blog! This was the big present from mom and dad. Still a little small to enjoy it. Parker also received lots of clothes and a few other small toys. Uncle Ben and Aunt Courtney sent books and gift cards for mom and dad to have a date night. Aunt Courtney must check the blog out a lot because she sent books and a book pet!

Snow Day!
What would you do on a snow day? Well Parker thinks you should lay around on your snowflake blanket in your snowman pajamas. We were lazy all day! It was great!
Parker went to the mall last Friday to get his picture taken with Santa. He was getting fussy when it was finally our turn so this was the best one we could get.Sunday, December 7, 2008

New Milestones

Parker is doing a lot of new stuff. He is talking to us like crazy. It is so neat to watch his face light up when he see Scott and I. He is almost ready to laugh but it is still more of a long coo. He has also started blowing raspberries which he thinks is hilarious.
During tummy time Parker lifts his head up a lot more and has started looking around. We tried out the bumbo the other day but it is still a little soon for it. He can hold his head up for a few seconds but his neck still gets tired.
The other day Parker discovered HE can control where his hands goes. He really enjoyed "hitting" mommy in the face and grabbing her mouth. : )
Parker enjoyed watching College Football Rivalry weekend with mom!
During bath time Parker is hysterical to watch. He moves his arms like a windmill and kicks his feet HARD. When he accidentally splashed himself in the face he looks at us like we did it.
We had our first cold last week but survived. The worst part is using the "booger getter". Parker learned how to push mom away when she tries to suck his nose.
Well that is the basic run down of Parker's latest! Thanks for checking in on us : )

Parker's First Thanksgiving
Parker had a great first Thanksgiving. On Thursday he spent his first Thanksgiving at Grammie and Grampy's. He met LOTS of people! Great Aunts Barbara, Nancy and Elizabeth, Great Uncles Kenny, David and Randall. TONS of cousins: Scott, Amy, Corey, Hannah, Jacbo, Sarah Beth, Claire, Michael. Sorry if I left anyone out! That night he went to his Nana's to spent time with Aunt Jennifer, Cousins Nick and Elizabeth, Uncle Robbie and his Great Mamaw and Great Papaw. Whew! What a day.The next day we went to see Great Grandmama, Great Granddaddy, Granpa, Annette, Aunt Bridget, Matt, Great Aunt Kathy, Great Uncle Kelly and Sarah. WOW! Talk about a family filled weekend!
Later on Black Friday Mommy and Grammie tackled some shopping. Parker gave all the shoppers in Old Navy an earful with his shrill cry when nap time hit right while mommy was trying to check out. After a little soothing in the truck Parker slept through most of the mall shopping but woke up to enjoy a bottle in the food court.

Everyone Loved Him
We had our annual get together (sans a few missed friends) the other night. It was Parker's debut and of course everyone loved him. It is hard to believe last year four of my friends weren't married and I didn't have a baby. Now everyone is married, I have a baby, Lynnette is expecting and I have a strong suspicion that there will be more expecting mommies in the near future.Thursday, November 20, 2008
Let the Holidays Begin!
The Christmas Season is officially beginning! Yesterday we took a holiday picture with the five grandkids for Pappy's Christmas card. All in all it turned out great. We actually were able to get all five kiddos in one place long enough to snap a couple of pictures.

Just a few pic updates
This is the cutest face ever! My mom gets credit for taking this too cute picture. Go check out her blog to see what Parker was thinking during this one.Tuesday, November 11, 2008
Parker Update
Parker is growing so much! I took him to the doctor yesterday and he weighed 12 pounds 2 ounces and measured 23 and 1/2 inches long. I honestly thought he was going to be bigger than that. Both measurements put him in the 50th percentile. He his really starting to develop a little personality. He smiles and coos all the time. He really loves men. I think it is because he hears my voice all day. When his daddy comes home he just lights up!
Sleeping is going great! During the day we work really hard at not staying awake longer than 2 hours because he doesn't get fussy if we do that. Naps vary from day to day. But night time sleep is starting to get more predictable. We try to have a bath by 7:30 and start our bedtime routine. Last night he slept 11 1/2 hours! I think the Tylenol from his shots had something to do with that. But the two nights before he slept a solid 8 hours.
I am starting to get really sad about going back to work. There are so many firsts I have been able to experience being with him all the time. But I know me going back to work is best for me and my family.

Stylin'

So when you see mommy out looking a little out of fashion you will know why! All extra money is being spent on a stylish wardrobe for Parker. Not really but I am a sucker for buying cute outfits. I have tried to only buy one or two per size because he is still growing so quick. But I just love dressing him up in outfits!Tuesday, October 28, 2008
