Big Boy (sorta)! Parker was 32 inches long (75th percentile) and 22 lbs. 5 ozs. (35th percentile) His weight was actually down since his 1 year check up; about a pound or so. Which could be due to the fact he has started walking and his recent sickness. Dr. Dartt was very impressed with all of his progress and said that he is right on track for everything. We had to get shots while we were there and Parker did great with his shots.
Milestones:
Parker has started walking backwards; which is really cute!
Talking alot! Words are: Mama, Daddy, kitty, dog, ball, juice, cheese, blankey (sorta), nana, truck, uh-oh, book, thank you, fish, shoe and some other words that no one else would understand : )
My favorite things he does is he still plays peek-a-boo and starts up games of "hide and seek" but now when you see him he says "I see you"
Eating is crazy. Some days he eats so well but other days he eats very little. He still drinks 2 or 3 cups or milk a day and then juice/water cups in between. Basically he is allowed to eat anything he wants; but favorites are macaroni and cheese, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, graham crackers, goldfish, ham, cheese sticks, pizza.
Parker is starting to follow simple commands without gestures like "go get me a book" or "put that down".
All in all he is doing great! It is another amazing stage or watching him learn something new everyday. Sorry for the overload of information but this is my record keeping for the book I will make for year one.
