6 months old

Parker is getting big so fast. We can't get over what a big boy we have. He has discovered rolling over both ways finally. Me mastered belly to back a long time ago but just this past really got the hang of back to belly. Now he realizes he can go places by rolling! I can also tell he wants to MOVE. When he sees something he wants he lungs and jerks towards the item. He also cried the other night when he dropped my cell phone he was playing with. That was the first time he had cried because he dropped a toy. His other favorite thing is laughing at the dogs. The other night he laughed for 5 minutes straight watching the dogs play. I know I will say this again but I am really loving this stage!

Peek-a-Boo

Parker has started laughing out loud here lately and it is hilarious. He has recently discovered the marvelous game of peek-a-boo. It was hard to video him since he was more worried about what the video camera was. Scott and I have vowed to get better about videotaping Parker in motion!

For Valentine's Day Scott and Parker got matching hats. I had them made by someone I found on Etsy.com! I just wish I had ordered one for me : (

Parker has been taking vapor baths because of his bronchitis. I would put him in the sink with the vapor stuff and then run the shower for lots of steam. I think I put too many bubbles in this time.

I have started shopping for Parker's Spring clothes. I love this little hat I found on sale at Gap.

Parker and George

Parker's Curious George stuffed animal is my favorite. I am really encouraging him to play with George. I can just picture Parker toddling around asking for his George!

Ice Storm 2009

Parker by his tree at Grammie's. Due to the ice storm we stayed at my mom's for most of the storm. It was one of the worst storms I have expierenced. The ice started on Tuesday morning and we lost power at the house that afternoon. Some of my friends were trying to stay somewhere with lights and heat. We ended up at Scott's dad's RV that was being ran off of a generator. The next day we decided we needed somewhere more permanent so we went to a friend's grandmother's house. Finally my parent's power came back on so we stayed there until the following Monday. It was a crazy week! Good thing Parker didn't know what was going on.
