NOTHING

Yeah thats right NOTHING. I went to the doctor today and NOTHING has changed. Still around 80% thinned and 1 centimeter. Seriously not happy about the whole situation. On top of that I didn't get to see my doctor and I won't get to see her next week either.

Baby Sling

I broke down and bought one! I was all about making my own but a friend of mine bought one from the same store on Ebay and it was a real good deal. A lot of places sell them for $60 or more and I found this one for $23. I doubt I could have bought the material and rings for that price.

Nursery Update

The perfect final touch to Parker's nursery. My step-dad (Grampy) made this beautiful bookshelf for Parker's room. It is PERFECT! It one of my favorite items in the nursery.
He also made this name plate to go across the top of the bookshelf which looks really cool with the nursery colors.
To top it all they gave me the lamp I was wanting that goes with Parker's bedding.

Now all we need is Parker to finish off the nursery.

Doctor Update

I had my 37 week appointment today and all is well. Baby is good and I am good : )
I had thinned out more and I am 1 centimeter dilated. So I am still making progress. We also had a suprise ultrasound. The doctor wasn't sure she felt the head where it should be so we had an ultrasound to make sure he wasn't breech. He is head down with his butt in my left ribs and feet in my right ribs. Which explains the discomfort when he moves. She also assured us it was a little boy and told us it looks like he is going to have some hair.


Tonight my step dad brought over the bookshelf he made for the nursery and it is perfect! I will put pictures up next time I post it is too late to upload pictures right now. We are now just waiting to bring precious Parker home. I am one big bag of mixed emotions. 90% excited, 5% nervous and 5% scared or something like that! As much as I wanted to go as close to my due date as possible I just want to get him here! Every day I feel like it could be any day now. I have lots of contractions and tightness while I am work. I just wish I could get everything settled away before I have to leave but I guess we are operating on Parker's time now!

Enough ramblings for the night! I will keep you posted! My mom is already to come over and post pics of Parker as soon as she can!

Our Car Seat and Stroller

I really like the one we decided on! Scott has a different car seat and base that we bought from a friend. But I think mine is pretty : ) and it was really easy for me to operate in the store!

Doctor Update and Shopping Spree

I went to the doctor today and everything is right on track! I am 50% thinned about and 1/2 a centimeter dilated! Woo hoo! Something is going on down there so that leads me to think Parker may be motivated to come out on his own. She said she wouldn't expect to go any sooner than 2-3 weeks from now. But you never know.

After my doctor's appointment I went shopping on all my wonderful gift cards I have received. I bought breast feeding necessities, pacifiers, bottles, a bottle sterilizer, bottle drying rack, car seat, stroller, a monitor and diapers! I think we finally have EVERYTHING! I even found a girl with a bumbo I am going to purchase AND we bought an extra car seat and base from a friend of ours. We are READY. Well as ready as someone can be for their first child, right? : )

Wish us look as we wait on Parker to make his debut! I start school tomorrow and am a little bummed : ( Fat and pregnant going back to work after a LAZY summer is going to be rough!

Family Baby Shower

My aunt Martha threw my family baby shower and it was great. I recieved lots of items that I needed. I wanted to show off two of my favorites. The blue blanket was made by my Aunt Barbara and it is wonderful. She did a mother goose theme and the back has a nursery rhyme print. There were also burb clothes to match. I am just too lazy to upload all of the pictures : )
The quilt my mom made and her note to Parker that came with it made me cry : ( In a good way though! Parker has a blanket for everyday of the week!

Maternity Pictures

If you would like to see the entire album of my maternity pictures send me your e-mail and I will send you the link of how to look at them. I not posting it on here because of school starting up and some people could view my pictures as not tasteful. Please be considerate of who you share the pictures with since I am a teacher : ) I personally love them all and think they are creative photography but unfortunately there are others who do not share the same opinion.

They are really awesome! Cilla deserves another round of compliments for preserving such a special moment in mine and Scott's life with her beautiful photography. We have already booked her for newborn pictures with Parker on Sept. 14th! I am thrilled to have her capture Parker at such a precious point in his life!

Trouble for Parker

I think these three are going to give Parker a hard time! He better learn to speak up quick! Tami is going to have her hands full with these three, Parker and Baby Elvis (AKA Colin). Love her heart for being the most patient woman ever or just crazy we aren't sure : ) Just kidding Tami we love you and more than thankful you are willing to take on Parker.
